The big storyline here is the health of Houston Rockets guard Russell Westbrook. He went down with quad strain and was ruled out at least a few playoff games.
It's a potentially tough blow for the Rockets who rely heavily on their two super star players to create offense for the multiple shooters they have on the court at any given time. They will have Eric Gordon back in the lineup, which should soften the blow a bit.
While the Rockets adjust to their sudden injury woes, the Oklahoma City Thunder are getting their players back entering the postseason. Dennis Schroder returned to the bubble after the birth of his child. The finalist for Sixth-Man of the Year will give OKC some punch off the bench.
The Thunder were one of the biggest surprises of the season and were competitive against the Rockets winning two of their three matchups. Their scrappy nature combined with the uncertainty around Westbrook will have many bettors looking at those +120 series odds for OKC.
