The Victor Wembanyama-less San Antonio Spurs are now ahead in their series against the Portland Trail Blazers after securing a 2-1 lead with a Game 3 win. Portland wasn't able to take advantage of the big man's absence, but did get strong contributions from another top pick from the 2023 NBA Draft.

Scoot Henderson, who played in just 30 regular-season games, is having a phenomenal first playoff series. The 22-year-old guard is averaging 23.3 points while shooting better than 50.0% from the field and long range. He's attempted 15.3 shots per contest through Game 3 against one of the league's most formidable defenses.

The G League Ignite product has bumped Shaedon Sharpe to the bench and is averaging 33.7 minutes as a member of Portland's starting backcourt alongside Jrue Holiday.

Henderson averaged 16.2 points per game through 14 appearances at home in the regular season, despite only logging 24.3 minutes per outing. Now he's earned a larger role and can be far more productive as a scorer.

Pick: Scoot Henderson Over 14.5 Points (-126)

Derrick White Under 13.5 Points (-105)

Derrick White posted a career-high 16.5 points in 2025-26, but has fallen off the face of the Earth during the Boston Celtics' series against the Philadelphia 76ers. The defensive-minded guard can't seem to find his shot.

White shot under 40.0% from the field during the regular season, and his numbers have only gotten worse in the postseason. The Colorado product is averaging 9.7 points while shooting 29.4% from the field and 20.0% from 3-point range in the first round. Despite his poor outside shooting, 73.5% of his shots are coming from beyond the arc.

White's role and efficiency have changed dramatically with Jayson Tatum back in the rotation, and it's clear that offense is far from a strength for him right now.

It won't be surprising to see White dial back his shot volume in Game 4, as he's scored less than 14 points in seven consecutive appearances.

Pick: Derrick White Under 13.5 Points (-105)

Lakers vs Rockets Prop: Luke Kennard

Luke Kennard Over 12.5 points (-112)

The Los Angeles Lakers are on the brink of sweeping the Houston Rockets. LeBron James is powering the team to victory without the assistance of Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves. However, he is still getting valuable support from role players.

Luke Kennard, the league's most efficient long-range shooter, has been a revelation for Los Angeles. The former Atlanta Hawk is averaging 21.3 points on 12.7 attempts while shooting better than 52.0% from the field and 3-point range in the first round. While Reaves is nearing a return to the hardwood, the Lakers aren't facing pressure to put him out there before he's ready.

Los Angeles holds a 3-0 lead ahead of Sunday's road Game 4 matchup, and can afford to let Reaves recover a little more. Even if he does play, it's unlikely that he'll take on a full workload as a player who only recently participated in 5-on-5 basketball and hasn't suited up since the second day of April.

The Lakers are getting enough out of Kennard, Marcus Smart, and Rui Hachimura to roll with its current group. That means bettors can expect Kennard to get his usual volume as an elite sniper. Only Hachimura can top his average of 42.0 minutes per game among Lakers players this postseason.

Pick: Luke Kennard Over 12.5 Points (-112)
