Knicks vs Nets NBA Preview

The Knicks have won four straight games against incredibly underwhelming competition — and I would be surprised if that trend ends tonight.

Meanwhile, the Nets lost five straight games, 15 of their last 17; and 33 of their last 40. They aren't even trying.

So, the crowded injury report for Brooklyn isn't surprising, given the circumstances.

Michael Porter Jr. (hamstring), Egor Demin (foot), Noah Clowney (wrist), and Day'Ron Sharpe (UCL) are all out. Ben Saraf (foot) is probable. Zaire Williams (foot) is questionable.

For the Knicks, as of early Friday morning, we have two absences listed so far: Deuce McBride (core) and Josh Hart (knee) are out.

You would think the Knicks could sit more players — but the issue is, they are off until Sunday following this game, and even then, they'll be facing an equally bad Wizards team.

Let's just hit the simulate button and fast-forward to the playoffs, man.

Knicks vs Nets Predictions, Betting Analysis

This is more of a lean, pending the injury report.

The Nets have lost by 18 or more points in seven of their last 16 games.

The spread for tonight's game is enormous, and the Knicks do tend to play with their food — but the Nets have fallen to the Knicks by margins of 54, 36, and 13 points this season.

Give me the Knicks -17.5 in Brooklyn tonight.

Pick: Knicks -17.5 (-110)
