76ers vs Nuggets NBA Preview

The 76ers are tied for eighth right now with the surging Hawks, and run the risk of falling to 10th if the Hornets begin another surge by beating the potentially short-handed Heat tonight.

Philadelphia is 37-31 and three games ahead of Charlotte, but still very injured and rapidly falling out of the 1-8 playoff picture — with little relief in sight.

To top it off, the Sixers are playing in Denver tonight against a Nuggets team that is tied for fifth in the Western Conference, but Denver is only 1.5 games behind the Lakers for the third seed amid their own collection of injuries and generally uneasy play (per their fanbase).

Injury-wise, Tyrese Maxey (finger), Joel Embiid (oblique), Paul George (suspension), Jabari Walker (illness), and Kelly Oubre (elbow) are all out for the Sixers. Dalen Terry (shoulder) is questionable.

For the Nuggets, Peyton Watson (hamstring) remains out, but head coach David Adelman did say that Watson could return later this week.

76ers vs Nuggets Predictions, Betting Analysis

It's hard not to like Nikola Jokic's rebounds prop here.

The 76ers will be without Embiid, George, and Walker tonight. So, the 76ers are left with a frontcourt consisting of Adem Bona, Andre Drummond, Dominick Barlow, and Trendon Watford.

Blowout potential is scary, but Jokic is also liable to enter halftime with 10+ rebounds.

Jokic has gone over 12.5 boards in five of his last nine games, and he finished three games at exactly 12 during that span. So, if you can find an 11.5 out there, God bless.

Pick: Nikola Jokic Over 12.5 Rebounds (-130)
