Two teams towards the top of their respective conferences will face off on Wednesday night as the Miami Heat host the Golden State Warriors at the FTX Arena.
Miami stands atop the Eastern Conference with a two-game edge on the Milwaukee Bucks with 10 games to play. Only 2.5 games separate the Heat from the fourth-placed Boston Celtics, so winning games down the stretch will be imperative for teams near the top of the conference.
The Warriors lost the fourth quarter by 13 points in a major upset to the Orlando Magic last night, and they'll be without Stephen Curry once again this evening as the superstar recovers from a foot injury.
This is only the second game of a five-game East coast road trip for the Warriors, but it would be vital if they could pick up a few wins and hold their spot as a top-three team in the Western Conference. If they fall into the fourth or fifth spot, a meeting with the Phoenix Suns could be in the cards in the second round.
