The time has finally come as top-seeded Michigan is set to square off with UConn in Indianapolis on Monday.

My bracket picks have really come to fruition as I successfully picked all four Final Four teams — then the Wolverines to ultimately take down Dan Hurley’s bunch in the national title game.

With the stage set, here's my college basketball parlay and Michigan vs UConn picks for Monday, April 6.

  • Michigan -6.5
  • Yaxel Lendeborg 2+ 3-Pointers Made

Parlay Odds: +170 (DraftKings)

Michigan -6.5

While some were calling Michigan versus Arizona the game of the decade, I was far from surprised at the result. The Wolverines had clear advantages both inside the paint and on the perimeter, and they made an absolute statement in the process.

I fully expect Dusty May’s bunch to do the same against UConn on Monday.

While the Huskies were rather impressive against Illinois, I couldn't imagine a worse matchup for the Huskies than the Wolverines.

UConn has relied on the stellar play of Tarris Reed Jr. on the offensive end of the floor all tournament long. The senior absolutely dominated an impressive Duke frontcourt followed by Illinois, which also boasted impressive size.

That said, the Wolverines' frontcourt is on another level, with Aday Mara’s presence as a rim protector being a very difficult challenge for any opponent.

The 7-foot-3 Spaniard will undoubtedly make it tough for Reed to get open looks near the basket. Alongside Mara, Morez Johnson Jr. has also been elite at both ends of the floor.

While the Huskies' backcourt has some great shooters, they lack the athleticism required to run with a team of Michigan’s caliber. The Wolverines have a suffocating perimeter defense that will make it very tough for Alex Karaban and Braylon Mullins to find an offensive rhythm.

Michigan has advantages everywhere in this matchup, and I feel more than confident playing it to cover its -6.5 number with -120 juice.

Yaxel Lendeborg 2+ 3-Pointers Made

Michigan’s star forward and senior leader Yaxel Lendeborg played just 15 minutes in the team’s 18-point victory over Arizona, which really shows you how elite and well-rounded this Wolverines squad is.

Given his lack of offensive impact in the national semifinal, the Wolverines’ top scorer is somewhat undervalued in the market. The former UAB Blazer has been lighting it up from beyond the arc.

While UConn has an impressive defensive unit, it'll have its hands full with a Michigan offensive arsenal that can score from anywhere on the floor. Lendeborg has covered his 1.5 triples made in each of the last four contests.

Even if Lendeborg isn't 100% due to an ankle injury he suffered in the first half against Arizona, I'm not worried, as he buried multiple 3s in the second half and finished 3-of-3.

I'll be backing the Michigan star to continue his hot streak, as I expect him to soar over his 1.5 3-pointers made total.
