For my top Packers vs Steelers NFL PrizePicks and Underdog plays, I’m highlighting Tucker Kraft, Aaron Rodgers, and Jaylen Warren.
A Tucker Kraft breakout game is something that Green Bay faithful have been waiting for, but have yet to see. However, Kraft is heavily involved in the offense, as he saw a season-high 10 targets.
Although things appear to be trending up for the Packers' tight end, they should come back down to earth this week. Pittsburgh has been especially tough on opposing tight ends, ranking sixth in receptions allowed to them.
Additionally, only two tight ends have recorded more than four receptions against the Steelers this season. Don't expect Kraft to buck the trend.
Pittsburgh is a slight home underdog in this matchup, but given how its defense has performed in recent weeks, it is likely to be trailing throughout this one.
A trailing game script means an uptick in passing attempts for Aaron Rodgers, who is fresh off a great game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Rodgers has looked solid in his age-41 season, ranking seventh in completion percentage and 11th in yards per pass. He is also facing a Packers defense that may not be as good as the hype suggests.
Green Bay ranks 21st in opponent completion percentage and 16th in sack rate. With how we've seen Rodgers get the ball out quickly this season, those numbers work right in his favor. Back him to surpass this total for the third straight game.
Jaylen Warren has become the bellcow in the Steelers' backfield, doing tremendous work on the ground and through the air. Although, despite his heavy usage, he's only scored once this season.
While this is an unfavorable matchup on paper, Warren's red-zone usage makes him overdue to find paydirt. He is averaging four red-zone rushing attempts per game, and the Steelers have the ball a majority of the time in the red zone.
Back Warren to finally find the endzone tonight.
