Chelsea vs Fulham Best Bet: Goals a Plenty in This Western Derby
Chelsea currently boasts the highest expected goals (xG) numbers in the Premier League, scoring five goals from an xG of 4.3 and creating nine big chances, more than any other team, despite missing four. Fulham, in contrast, have slightly outperformed their xG by 0.5.
Although both teams offered a negative return on investment (ROI) in the Over 2.5 Goals market last season, Chelsea's revamped attack has given bettors renewed optimism. The 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace marked the first time in 23 games, including friendlies, that Enzo Maresca's side failed to score.
Meanwhile, Fulham have struggled defensively on the road, failing to keep a clean sheet away since January 2025. Despite conceding only twice this season against Brighton and Manchester United, Fulham's xGA (expected goals against) is 3.1, the sixth highest in the league.

Manchester United vs Burnley: United Looking to Avoid Humiliation
Manchester United are fresh from a new embarrassment, as they exited the EFL Cup on Wednesday, losing on penalties to fourth-tier minnows Grimsby Town. That makes it just one win in the last seven official games for the Red Devils, and none since May. Head coach Ruben Amorim now has the lowest win percentage of any manager since Sir Alex Ferguson departed the club 12 years ago, at 35.5%.
Looking to pounce on United's disgrace is Burnley, who beat fellow promoted side Sunderland 2-0 to pick up its first three Premier League points of the season. It's actually two in a row for the Clarets, who also beat Derby County 2-1 in the EFL Cup on Tuesday.
A defensive stalwart, the Clarets will aim to make themselves noisy visitors at Old Trafford, and with a Manchester United that has lost eight of its last 13 games at home, they're likely to get away with it. In any case, don't expect a thrilling affair.
