Sparks vs. Lynx Preview
Minnesota is getting even better in the second half of the season. Olivia Miles has been leading the charge for the Lynx as this year's Rookie of the Year frontrunner, but now, 2019 Rookie of the Year Napheesa Collier is back in the rotation. The two-way superstar's impact is already making a major difference on an already elite offense.
The Lynx are second only to the Fever in points per game (92.7) and have scored at least 100 points in three of the four games they've played since Collier returned to the hardwood. The 29-year-old hasn't missed a beat on offense. She's averaging 18.3 points, 7.2 rebounds and 3.3 assists on just 25.0 minutes per contest in 2026 while shooting 48.3% from the field and 43.8% from deep. Those numbers will likely increase when she takes on a full workload, as she hasn't logged fewer than 32.0 minutes per game since 2022.
Then there's Collier's defense. The 2024 Defensive Player of the Year is averaging 2.5 stocks per game this season and is sure to make good looks difficult for a Sparks team that's still putting the ball in the basket just fine after trading Kelsey Plum to the Mercury. Los Angeles is scoring the ball well but has dropped seven of 10 outings. All signs point to a dominant win for the best team in basketball.

Sparks vs. Lynx Prediction
Collier logged season highs in minutes (31) and assists (7) in Minnesota's latest win against the Fever. Miles is the team's top playmaker, but Collier's skilled playmaking is being underestimated here.
Collier is on track to average more than 3.0 assists per game for a third consecutive season this year and is surrounded by more offensive talent than she ever has been. Her sample size is small so far, but she's racking up 4.7 dimes per 36 minutes in 2026.
Only the Fire are giving up more assists per game (22.8) than the Sparks this season, so roll with the over for Collier.
Best Bet: Napheesa Collier Over 2.5 Assists (-115, DraftKings)
