He is also a formally trained sports journalist, with experience at the NHL and Canadian Olympic Committee.

Education
Chris graduated with a degree in sociology from the University of Toronto before completing a graduate certificate in sports journalism at Centennial College.
His first experience with sports writing came back in 2018, when he wrote for the University of Toronto's "The Varsity" newspaper.
