Best Prediction Markets for Crypto Trading in October 2026
In October 2026, the best crypto prediction markets are Polymarket, Kalshi, FanDuel Predicts, Crypto.com and OG.com.
I continuously test these crypto prediction market apps to trade crypto price moves. They save me the hassle of actually buying/owning/selling Bitcoin, Solana, Ethereum and other cryptocurrencies.
Instead, these apps let me take a position on a specific outcome, like whether Bitcoin finishes above a set level on a given day or moves up or down over a short window.
Keep reading to see how I compare the main crypto prediction market apps available to US traders.
New to this space? Our prediction markets hub contains guides on how prediction markets work and how to trade on Polymarket & Kalshi. Additionally, we track live markets across crypto, politics and sports in one place.
Disclaimer: Prediction market trading involves significant risk, and nothing here is investment advice.
🔎 TL;DR: Best Crypto Prediction Markets
- Polymarket US — best for new prediction market users focused on Bitcoin, with BTC Up/Down markets, crypto policy contracts and an easy, beginner-friendly interface. No altcoins or 5-minute markets, so more experienced traders may outgrow it quickly.
- Kalshi — best for order book depth/liquidity and range of cryptocurrencies and timeframes, from 15-minute to long-dated. Potentially a little overwhelming and higher-risk, with various Up/Down markets available. Better suited to experienced traders comfortable with more choice and faster-moving markets.
- FanDuel Predicts — best for beginners who want a small, easy-to-scan menu.
- Crypto.com — best for a simple flat fee and funding straight from a crypto balance.
- OG.com — best for altcoin variety and ultra-short (5-minute) markets.

₿ How I Picked the Best Prediction Markets for Crypto
I factored in every criteria that makes a difference when trading crypto markets.
Cryptocurrency coverage was the most heavily weighted factor, as a prediction market platform without the right coin coverage gives you very little to work with.
If you're like me, who only trades a few hundred dollars at once, liquidity and funding alternatives don't matter much. But coin coverage, market options, and fees are the first things I consider.
Here's a closer look at what I factored into my rankings:
- Crypto market coverage, including coins beyond BTC
- Contract length availability, from intraday markets that span weeks or even months down to hourly, 15-minute, and 5-minute windows
- Liquidity, especially if you plan on trading with size
- Trading costs, including maker and taker fees where applicable
- Funding methods, supporting a wide range of cryptocurrencies for deposits helps you get to the action quickly
- Usability, meaning how easy each app is to use
- Who uses the platforms, when it's player vs. player instead of against the house, it's important to understand who you're trading against
Welcome offers and other prediction market bonuses didn't affect my rankings, though I've shared signup bonuses you can claim for a boost when you start trading crypto.
I also didn't factor in the app's other markets, such as sports, politics, culture, etc. We have separate guides for these niches, such as the best political betting apps, best NFL prediction markets, and best college football prediction markets.
1️⃣ Polymarket Crypto Markets
When I talk about Polymarket, I'm talking about the US product only. I'm not pulling in market counts or trading volume from the international prediction market site. It's worth noting that Polymarket US & International are going to be unified in the future, which will provide benefits for users of both platforms, including deeper liquidity pools and a wider range of crypto markets.
The range of currencies and crypto markets available on Polymarket US is still limited compared to the International site, but liquidity is more focused and centralized because of this. Polymarket US will have to hold onto that silver lining until they unify their US and International orderbooks in the near future.
Polymarket's crypto menu isn't limited to price questions. You can trade dated Bitcoin thresholds, but you'll also find markets tied to crypto legislation and policy. So if you want to try and predict which company will launch a stablecoin in 2026, or something beyond "where will BTC finish?", Polymarket US gives you a few different angles.

For something much shorter, Polymarket up/down markets run Bitcoin contracts in back-to-back 15-minute windows. Settlement uses CF Benchmarks' Bitcoin Real-Time Index (BRTI) as the primary BTC/USD reference, which is an average price taken across exchanges. Binance, Chainlink, and Pyth pricing oracles act as fallbacks if that source is unavailable.

Fees here depend on how you place the trade. Polymarket's crypto markets use a price-scaled taker fee, while maker orders carry no trading fee. The taker fee is highest around the middle of the probability range and gets smaller toward either end.
If you're new to Polymarket, you can use the Polymarket promo code ACTION to Deposit $10, Get a $25 Trading Bonus!*
*Terms: 18+ Only. Restrictions and eligibility requirements apply. Not available in all jurisdictions. Trading is risky. 100% loss can occur. See polymarket.com/tos for more information. The Polymarket US App serves as an independent software provider and affiliate of Polymarket US and Polymarket Clearing, the CFTC-regulated exchange and clearing organization.
2️⃣ Kalshi Crypto Markets
Kalshi has a much broader crypto board than just Bitcoin. You can find markets on Ethereum, Solana, XRP, DOGE and other altcoins, with time frames ranging from 15-minute Up or Down contracts to hourly, daily, weekly and longer-dated markets. It's available on both desktop and mobile, which helps if you're watching several short-dated markets at once.

Same as Polymarket US, Kalshi settles its crypto markets using CF Benchmarks indexes. This means that instead of taking one price at the exact moment the contract ends, it averages 60 readings taken once per second during the final minute. That makes a brief last-second price spike less likely to decide the result on its own.
Trading fees vary by contract price, quantity and market type, and maker fees apply in some markets.
Kalshi also offers perpetual futures, but those are a separate product from its prediction contracts and come with leverage and liquidation risk. We break those down later.
If you're new to Kalshi, you can use the Kalshi promo code ACTION2000 to Get up to $2000 Bonus!*
*Terms: Get up to $2000 Bonus!
3️⃣ FanDuel Predicts Crypto Markets
FanDuel Predicts also puts a Crypto tab right on the home screen, next to the Commodities and Financials sections. Tapping Crypto takes you straight to cryptocurrency contracts, while Financials covers markets like stock indexes and economic indicators.
The crypto menu is smaller than what you'll find at Kalshi or OG.com, currently specializing in Bitcoin and Ethereum. So if you want a long list of altcoins or several short-duration markets, you'll have more choices elsewhere. If you're mainly interested in mainstream crypto price contracts though, that smaller menu is much easier to scan.

FanDuel Predicts is separate from FanDuel Sportsbook, with its own account, markets and availability.
And if you're looking for another welcome bonus to trade crypto and sports contracts with, no FanDuel Predicts promo code is needed to Get $100 in Bonus When You Trade $1 for 5 Days! Just click on our links to sign up and claim.
*Terms: Offered by FanDuel Prediction Markets LLC, a registered futures commission merchant. 18+ and present in select states. First real money trade only. First-time deposit required. Min. $1 trade required for 5 consecutive days for max bonus. Bonus issued as non-withdrawable Predicts Bonus that expires 24 hours after receipt. Restrictions apply. Trading derivatives involves significant risk and may not be suitable for all investors. Manage your activity with our Consumer Protection tools. See terms, including eligible states, at: http://fanduel.com/predicts/new-customer-offer. Offer only valid in AL, AK, CA, DE, FL, GA, HI, ID, MN, NE, NM, ND, OK, RI, SC, SD, TX, or UT.
4️⃣ Crypto.com Crypto Markets

Crypto.com may be known as a place to buy and hold digital assets, but its prediction product lives separately inside the US app under the Predict tab. That's where you'll find CFTC-regulated event contracts offered through Crypto.com | Derivatives North America.
Once you're in Predict, enable the USD Account and you can look at the available markets. Prediction Trading is fully collateralized, and you can close an open position before expiration when there's a market for it. Also, Prediction Trading uses your USD Cash Account, so the trade itself is funded in dollars.
If you already hold supported crypto in Crypto.com, you can use Crypto Funding to convert it into USD first. Crypto price contracts also carry a fixed per-contract fee, with the estimated cost shown before you place the order.

5️⃣ OG.com Crypto Markets

OG.com launched in February 2026 and became a standalone company after spinning off from Crypto.com. Its Nadex entity operates as a CFTC-regulated designated contract market and derivatives clearing organization, and crypto is one of the more developed parts of the platform.
The current menu covers Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Solana, Cardano and Dogecoin, along with a longer list of altcoins. You also get a wide range of time frames, from 5-minute markets to 15-minute, one-hour and longer contracts. Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP and Solana all have 5-minute options.
That setup carries over to the trading screen, which puts live markets front and center and adds order books, social features and a leaderboard around them. Just keep in mind that you're trading prediction market contracts tied to crypto price outcomes, not buying or holding the coins themselves. Margin-based derivatives are offered separately.
No OG.com referral code is available just yet, but stay tuned for updates from Action Network.
🤔 How to Trade Crypto Contracts on a Prediction Market
If you haven't used a prediction market before for trading crypto, the sign-up process is pretty easy to pick up:
- Open and verify your account. Complete the identity checks required by the platform.
- Add funds. The available deposit methods depend on which app you're using.
- Find the crypto markets. Most platforms have a dedicated section.
- Read the contract rules. Check what needs to happen, when the market closes and which price source will be used for settlement.
- Read the price as implied probability. A higher contract price means the market is assigning that outcome a higher probability, before fees.
- Choose your order type. A market order tries to fill right away, while a limit order waits for the price you set and may not execute. Short-dated markets reprice in seconds, so a limit order may never fill.
- Track the position. In many markets, you can sell before resolution if there's enough market depth.
When it comes to settlement, understand which source the platform uses to make the final call.
Kalshi and Polymarket US both settle their Bitcoin markets on CF Benchmarks' Bitcoin Real-Time Index (BRTI).
Crypto.com and OG.com instead settle in accordance with the CDNA rulebook.
Ultimately, two contracts can look almost identical on the surface and still settle based on different price data.
Crypto Markets You Can Trade
Crypto prediction markets cover more than one version of "Will Bitcoin go up?"
- Bitcoin price thresholds ask whether BTC will finish above or below a set level at a specified time. Polymarket US, Kalshi, Crypto.com and OG.com all carry versions of them.
- Up/down markets strip the question back to direction over a fixed window. Polymarket US, Kalshi and OG.com all offer short-duration versions.
- Altcoin contracts take you beyond BTC (Ethereum, DOGE and more). Kalshi covers several major altcoins, while OG.com currently shows the broadest coin selection of the five platforms here.
- Crypto legislation and policy markets focus on real-world outcomes rather than token prices. Polymarket is the clearest example, with ETF or approval-related markets showing when they're listed (for example: "Crypto Market Structure Legislation Becomes Law?")
Whichever type of market you're looking at, the contract itself is only part of the picture. Check the order book too. Thin liquidity can mean a worse entry price or make it harder to exit early, even if the market question looks interesting.

Short-Dated Crypto Markets: 5, 15 and 60 Minutes
Short-dated crypto markets ask the same questions as longer contracts, but everything happens much faster. Polymarket US, Crypto.com and OG.com currently go down to 5-minute markets, and Kalshi has 15-minute markets across several cryptocurrencies.
Here's what each platform currently offers:
| Platform | 5-min | 15-min | 60-min |
|---|---|---|---|
| Polymarket US | ❌ | ✅ | ✅ |
| Kalshi | ❌ | ✅ | ✅ |
| FanDuel Predicts | ❌ | ❌ | ✅ |
| Crypto.com | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ |
| OG.com | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ |
That shorter window changes how you trade them. If you're using a limit order, for example, the crypto price can move before your order ever fills. And with only five or 15 minutes on the clock, you don't have much time to wait for a better price or rethink the position before the market settles.
On top of that time frame, costs can add up quickly if you keep moving from one short-dated market to the next. If you trade one 5-minute market, then another right after it, then another, each new position can come with another fee, and the spread can work against you each time you enter or exit.
So the issue isn't that a 5-minute contract is automatically more expensive. It's that short windows make it easier to trade more often, and those repeated costs can add up. Sure, a shorter contract settles faster, but that doesn't automatically make it cheaper or easier to trade.
📈 Can You Trade Crypto on Novig or ProphetX?
⚔️ Prediction Markets vs. Crypto Trading
Buying "spot" crypto means owning the asset if you do it "on-chain" via a decentralized exchange like Uniswap or Jup, or if you use a centralized exchange like Coinbase or Kraken and withdraw the coins to your wallet.
Event contract trading is different: you're taking a position, using a "financial instrument" (a prediction market platform) on one defined outcome for a set period. That changes the risk. With a fully collateralized contract, you know what you can lose when you enter because the position is paid for upfront. There's no gas fees, no wallet, seed phrase, bridging or self-custody to manage.
Prediction markets give you a few options that spot ownership doesn't, in similar ways to how perpetual futures work - where you can either long or short a coin's price action. You can take the negative side of a price question without borrowing the coin, and you can trade non-price outcomes such as crypto legislation or regulatory approvals. Dated contracts also resolve on a schedule instead of staying open indefinitely.
Of course, there are limits. A winning contract pays no more than its stated settlement value, while an owned cryptocurrency has no fixed upside ceiling. You can't stake the token or keep it as a long-term holding, either. And if a market is thin, exiting early may cost more than expected.
Settlement also follows the reference source written into the contract rules, not whichever exchange price you happen to be watching.
🪙 Kalshi Perps: A Different Product Entirely
Kalshi Perps are a very different type of trading from the event contracts covered here.
For starters, perpetual futures offer leverage and have no set expiration date. You post margin to take a long or short position, and if the market moves far enough against you, that position can be liquidated automatically.
There's also no $1/$0 structure capping the loss at the amount you originally paid. And because perpetual futures never expire, they use funding payments to help keep their price in line with the underlying crypto market. Depending on where the contract is trading, those payments move between traders on the long and short sides and can cost considerable amounts over long periods of time, or when funding rates are most volatile.
Kalshi also keeps the margin used for perps separate from your prediction-market balance. You can set take-profit and stop-loss orders too, using set limits of how much to sell, and when to sell it, which can instantly close a position once it reaches a price you choose (hopefully in profit!).
In short:
| Feature | Kalshi Event Contracts | Kalshi Perps (Perpetual Futures) |
|---|---|---|
| Leverage | None | Yes, margin-based |
| Expiration | Yes, contracts resolve on a set date | None. Perpetuals never expire |
| Max loss | Capped at what you paid ($1/$0 structure) | Uncapped (position can be liquidated) |
| Liquidation risk | No | Yes, if the market moves far enough against your margin |
| Funding payments | No | Yes. Paid between long and short sides to track the crypto market |
| Balance | Prediction-market balance | Separate margin account |
| Order types | Standard | Take-profit and stop-loss supported |
The CFTC approved KalshiEX's BTCPERP contract on May 29, 2026, and Bitcoin perpetual futures launched in June before the lineup expanded.
💳 Which Prediction Market Apps Accept Crypto Payments?
Crypto funding is available on most prediction market apps, but support varies by platform.
| App | Crypto Deposits Accepted | Assets Supported | Crypto Withdrawals |
|---|---|---|---|
| Polymarket US | No. Polymarket US is a fiat-based, USD platform. | Funding via ACH (through Aeropay), debit/credit card, or Apple Pay. Crypto-based trading is only available on the international Polymarket product. | No. Polymarket US is a fiat-based, USD platform. |
| Kalshi | Yes | BNB and USDT on BNB Smart Chain are confirmed for US accounts; additional supported assets and networks show up during the deposit process. | Yes, after a prior crypto deposit. |
| FanDuel Predicts | No. FanDuel Predicts is a fiat-based, USD platform. | No crypto assets, only online banking, PayPal, Venmo, debit card and Apple Pay. | No. FanDuel Predicts is a fiat-based, USD platform. |
| Crypto.com | Yes, through Crypto Funding, which converts supported crypto to USD. | 350+ tokens, including BTC, ETH and CRO. | Prediction Trading uses the USD Cash Account. |
| OG.com | Yes, via Mesh "Crypto-to-Cash," which auto-converts supported crypto to USDC, then to USD cash. | Accepts crypto from linked wallets/exchanges (Coinbase, MetaMask, Phantom); converts ETH, BTC and others to USDC on deposit. US except NY. | No. Withdrawals are USD only (ACH/RTP, or ACH/debit card in NY). Crypto is deposit-only. |
Bank and card funding are still more common than crypto deposits across the prediction market industry, so you don't need to already own crypto to trade crypto event contracts.
🏧 How to Deposit at Prediction Markets With Crypto
Crypto deposits work differently depending on the prediction market.
Kalshi lets you deposit supported cryptocurrencies over approved networks. In the US, those transfers are handled through Zero Hash and converted into the cash balance you use for trading. Deposits usually show up within 30 minutes, although blockchain congestion can cause delays.
Crypto.com's Prediction Trading runs through a USD Cash Account, so you don't trade directly from your crypto balance. If you already hold supported crypto in Crypto.com, Crypto Funding can convert it into USD first.
Polymarket US and FanDuel Predicts are fiat-only, so crypto deposits aren't supported. OG.com accepts crypto deposits, though it converts them to USD on arrival.
Whichever platform you're using, confirm both the asset and the network before sending anything. Using the wrong network can make the transfer difficult or impossible to recover, and network fees may apply. Also check withdrawals separately, since a platform may not let you cash out the same way you deposited.
Fees, Settlement and Payouts
Trading fees depend on both the platform and the order. Polymarket uses a price-scaled taker fee on crypto markets, with the highest dollar charge around the middle of the probability range, while maker orders carry no trading fee. Kalshi's fees vary by contract price, quantity and market type.
Crypto.com charges a fixed fee per crypto prediction contract, and FanDuel Predicts shows the transaction charge before you confirm.
| Platform | Fee Structure | What You Pay |
|---|---|---|
| Polymarket US | Price-scaled taker fee; maker rebate | Taker fee = 0.0695 × contracts × P × (1−P), peaking around $1.74 per 100 contracts at $0.50. Makers earn a small rebate. High-volume takers can get 10–50% rebates. |
| Kalshi | Price-scaled, varies by contract and market | Taker fee = 0.07 × contracts × P × (1−P); highest near $0.50 and lower toward the edges. Some markets add maker fees. |
| FanDuel Predicts | Flat percentage | 2% of potential payout, shown at checkout and charged again on early sell. |
| Crypto.com | Flat per contract (crypto markets) | $0.02 per contract to open or close (taker or maker). Waived at settlement, whether your prediction is right or wrong. |
| OG.com | Flat per contract (crypto/FX markets) | $0.02 per contract to open or close; waived at settlement, whether you win or lose. |
When it comes to settlement, check the reference index, observation window and expiration time before opening a position, because those rules decide the result. Once the market is final, winning contracts settle under the platform's rules and the resulting cash becomes available through its withdrawal process.
Trading gains may be reportable. Keep your records and speak with a qualified tax professional about your personal financial circumstances.
✅ Crypto Prediction Market App Availability and Eligibility
A CFTC-regulated prediction market operates under federal commodities oversight, but access still depends on the platform, the market and where you're located.
To use these apps, you usually need to be 18+, complete identity verification and be physically located somewhere the product is available. State and territory access can change, so check the platform's current eligibility terms before opening or funding an account.
Availability can also change as legal challenges over federal event contracts and state gaming authority continue. Courts have reached different conclusions in separate cases, so a market that's available in one place may not be offered everywhere.
🦺 Trading Crypto Contracts Responsibly
Short-dated markets can make it tempting to finish one position and immediately move into the next. When markets turn over every five or 15 minutes, it's easy to keep trading without stopping to reassess how much you've already spent or lost.
That's where responsible trading comes in. Set a spending limit before you start, keep your positions within it and don't increase your size just because you're trying to recover a loss.
If trading starts affecting your finances, sleep, work or relationships, step back and get support at 1-800-MY-RESET or 1-800-GAMBLER. 18+ Only. Restrictions and eligibility requirements apply. Not available in all jurisdictions. Trading is risky. 100% loss can occur.
❓ Best Prediction Markets for Crypto Trading FAQs
The best prediction markets for crypto trading are Polymarket, Kalshi, FanDuel Predicts, Crypto.com and OG.com. They offer different crypto coverage: Polymarket mixes price and policy markets, Kalshi has broad short-dated range, FanDuel Predicts keeps crypto with its financial markets, Crypto.com offers Predict inside its existing app, and OG.com currently has the broadest visible coin selection of the five.
Yes. You can trade event contracts tied to Bitcoin price outcomes without actually buying BTC or managing a crypto wallet. You buy a contract on where the price lands, and it settles at $1 if you're right or $0 if you're wrong. There's no wallet or custody involved.
A 15-minute crypto market measures a defined price outcome over one 15-minute window. Kalshi and Polymarket offer them, while Crypto.com and OG.com list 15-minute markets alongside 5-minute options.
It depends on the platform. Kalshi accepts supported crypto transfers, while Crypto.com can convert supported assets into the USD balance used for prediction trading. OG.com also takes crypto deposits but converts them to USD on arrival; Polymarket US and FanDuel Predicts are fiat-only.
Yes. The Commodity Futures Trading Commission oversees federally regulated event contracts in the US, but access still varies by platform and location. Litigation over federal and state authority also remains unsettled.
A crypto event contract has defined risk and resolves around a specific outcome. A perpetual future belongs to the futures markets: it's leveraged, has no expiration date, uses margin and funding payments, and can be liquidated if the market moves far enough against you.
No crypto market is currently available on Novig or ProphetX, as these prediction markets currently focus on sports.
Crypto.com and OG.com currently have the broadest crypto market coverage among the platforms we talked about. Exact market counts change, so check the live board before making a decision.
