Update Your Action Network App Today! Improved Following Experience & More

Big news. Today we are releasing version 3.2.2 of the Action app.

Many of our users tell us that they want to know what to bet on right now. Well, we’re making that easier for you. Now when you come into the app, you’ll notice a carousel on the first screen that shows all the people you’re following and the number of active bets they have. This is an awesome way to find out what to bet, but also a way to sweat along with your friends. Not following anyone in the app yet? We’ll also suggest some accounts you can follow. Try it out!

We’ve been trying to figure out why our game pages aren’t updating as often as they should. Shoutout to @dsnydz8 who keeps DMing me on Twitter about this. Our game views now update faster than KC comes back in the fourth quarter…

Ever find yourself using our app and you’re not sure if you’re not getting good service or if our app isn’t loading? Well good news: We now let you know when the app isn’t getting a good network connection. We just thought this was a nice thing to do.

And this one is for all the engineers who follow us: In this release, we upgraded to React Native v0.61 and completely got rid of Carthedge. w00t! We also knocked out a bunch of crashes, updated some deeplinks, and added some more analytics so we can give users a better experience.
