The second golf major of the year is officially underway, with all eyes on the Aronimink Golf Club for the 2026 PGA Championship

Early morning tee times feature some strong favorites to finish round 1 in the lead, including a supergroup with Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm and Jordan Spieth. Who will dominate early on?

PGA Championship End of Round 1 Leader: Live Kalshi Odds

Trade volume is quickly approaching $11 million, yet the odds will continue to fluctuate, akin to thinner markets. After all, anything can happen over the course of a single round, so volatility will be high as traders look to take advantage of who they believe is off to a hot start.

On the other hand, the number of available outcomes will keep contract prices on the lower end. As such, it could be shrewd to target golfers teeing off in the afternoon, when prices are lower than for early-morning tee times.

This market is more about targeting hot starters than the most talented golfers in the field, though naturally there's some overlap. For example, McIlroy has a history of getting off to hot starts at majors, and he's having a strong year in general following his second consecutive win at The Masters.

There's a lot to like about taking the odds on either of the other two golfers in his group. Jon Rahm is usually a safe bet to be among the leaders in the first round, and Jordan Spieth's penchant for early birdies put him in that conversation as well. What's more, Spieth is looking to complete the career Grand Slam, with a win at the PGA Championship being the missing piece.

Excitement will be just as high in the afternoon, with world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler teeing off around 2 p.m. ET. With a floor as safe as Scheffler's, that's a good bet to make under any circumstances.

Cameron Young is intriguing as well, with the length to excel at Aronimink if he can find an early rhythm. Given his recent hot streak, that's very possible.

Traders looking for some hidden value might consider targeting Keegan Bradley. His aggressive iron play has always been a good fit for this course, which is a big reason why he won the 2018 BMW Championship here.

Xander Schauffele also has a driver game perfect for the thick rough and long yardage needed at Aronimink, which is why he finished that same 2018 BMW Championship in a tie for third.

Overall, your best bet is to buy the "Yes" contracts with the best value for any of the golfers mentioned above. Most will be in single digits, meaning you'd be set to turn at least 10x profit on any winning outcome.

When Will This Kalshi Market Conclude?
