We start with some really nice +EV from some sportsbooks: Pinnacle: -270 🤯 Fliff: -195 ESPN: -190 As I've talked about Pinnacle is well known for being the sharpest book in the business and we get a cool 170 points of value on Fanatics before the boost. Littell isn't a great pitcher, but he can be efficient (that's why we are getting this line). He's cleared this mark in 4 of his last 6 games, but in only 1 of 6 at home this season. He gets a weak offense today in the Marlins, but they have been decent lately against RHP, ranking 18th in OPS over L30. MIA has even been walking at a decent rate, about league average. Tampa's Park is a nice place to hit, ranking as the 8th best park for homers. The Rays have gotten solid starts from Pepiot (6 innings) and Baz (5 innings) the last 2 so their pen should be in solid shape tonight, which won't force TB's hand to keep Littell out there. Littell looks due for some regression too. He holds a 3.86 ERA, but a 4.56 xERA. He doesn't generate whiffs and guys have been barreling him up (11th percentile). A lot of ways to like this under, from an EV perspective or a regression perspective.
