Bucks vs Clippers NBA Preview
The Milwaukee Bucks head west to face the Los Angeles Clippers in a matchup between two teams with different postseason realities.
Los Angeles enters the night at 35-36, holding onto a play-in spot in the Western Conference and looking to improve its seeding down the stretch.
Milwaukee, meanwhile, sits at 29-41 and remains on the outside looking in, needing a late push (or a miracle with the red-hot Hornets sitting above them) to even sniff play-in contention in the East.
The Clippers return home with some positive momentum after snapping a four-game skid in dramatic fashion, taking down the Mavericks 138-131 in overtime.
Darius Garland led the way with a massive 41-point, 11-assist performance, continuing his strong start with his new team following the trade deadline deal. His scoring and playmaking have given the Clippers a much needed boost as they try to stabilize their position in the standings.
Milwaukee also picked up a much-needed win, edging the Suns by a score of 108-105 on the road. Ryan Rollins was the standout performer in that game, delivering 26 points and 10 rebounds, including clutch plays in the final seconds.
However, the Bucks remain severely shorthanded. Giannis Antetokounmpo has missed multiple games with a knee issue, and Kyle Kuzma is questionable after leaving the last game early. That lack of frontcourt presence continues to impact Milwaukee on both ends of the floor.
Kawhi Leonard is questionable for the Clippers, and Bennedict Mathurin is still out.
Bucks vs Clippers Predictions, Betting Analysis
Rollins is coming off a headline performance, but that’s exactly why this rebound line looks inflated.
Action PRO is projecting 3.5 rebounds for Rollins in the Bucks' matchup against the Clippers tonight, presenting a huge 21.3% edge against the market when compared to his current prop line of over/under 4.5, which is good enough to mark the Under with an A+ grade in our system.
Outside of his 10-rebound outburst against Phoenix, he has only cleared three rebounds twice in his last eight games.
Tonight's game sets up as a difficult matchup for him to replicate that success.
The Clippers are still playing with urgency as they battle for play-in positioning, and they have been a disciplined team on the defensive glass
With Milwaukee potentially missing key frontcourt pieces, the rebounding opportunities could skew toward bigger bodies or simply be harder to come by against a locked-in opponent.
All signs point to regression after an outlier performance, making the Under the sharper side here.
Pick: Ryan Rollins Under 4.5 Rebounds (-106)
