Knicks vs. Hornets Player Prop Pick
By Joe Dellera
The Knicks face off against the Hornets tonight, in a matchup between two of the top teams in the Eastern Conference since the beginning of January.
The spread for this game is more-or-less a pick'em — and even though New York took care of business against the Hornets earlier in the season, I expect this game to be far more competitive.
Whenever New York is in a close game, Jalen Brunson generally takes the spotlight. In Knicks' games that have been decided by single-digit margins this season, Brunson has averaged nearly 30 points per game and has exceeded this mark in 22 of 29 games.
Looking at this from a matchup perspective, Brunson has already cleared this line in both games against the Hornets this season, and Charlotte still doesn't have a great matchup for him at the defensive end of the floor.
The current iteration this Hornets team has always struggled to contain pick-and-roll ball handlers. So, I expect Brunson to take care of business tonight as the Knicks kick off a three-game road trip.
Pick: Jalen Brunson Over 25.5 Points (-102)
Pelicans vs. Pistons Prop Bet
Action PRO is projecting 2.9 rebounds for Kevin Huerter in the Pistons' matchup against the Pelicans tonight, presenting a solid 8.1% edge against his current prop line of over/under 2.5, which is good enough to tag the Over with a B- grade in our database.
Huerter has recorded two rebounds or less in back-to-back games entering tonight's contest. However, prior to those two outings, he had recorded 3+ rebounds in six of his last seven games, while reaching 4+ rebounds in five of those contests; and getting all the way up to 5+ rebounds in two of them.
Huerter's playing time has seen a slight downtick between those two periods, but nothing to be overly concerned about. He averaged 21.7 minutes per game during the aforementioned seven-game stretch, and then played exactly 20 minutes in his latest two outings.
We see this as a good spot for Huerter to get back on track in the rebounding category against a Pelicans squad that ranks 12th in pace and 20th in offensive rating on the season.
Pick: Kevin Huerter Over 2.5 Rebounds (+100)
Kings vs. Magic Spread Prediction
By Bet Labs
Our Bet Labs system titled "Road Dogs Off ATS Loss" focuses on regular season situations where visiting underdogs are primed for a rebound after failing to cover the spread in their previous game — such as the Kings in tonight's matchup against the Magic.
Teams in the Kings' situation often show stronger effort and tighter execution following a poor performance, particularly when facing opponents coming off strong ATS wins who may enter overconfident or slightly overvalued by the market.
The travel factor adds to the motivation, as underdogs on the road tend to play with urgency and discipline to stay competitive.
By isolating games where perception favors the home team and the spread is wide enough to allow value, this system captures bounce-back opportunities where public sentiment skews the line, rewarding disciplined bettors who back undervalued road dogs in resilient spots.
Action PRO projects the spread for this game at Magic -9.1, showing an excellent 11.4% edge against the current line, which is strong enough to make Kings +15.5 an A+ play in our system.
