Hawks +5 at Cavaliers

7:30 p.m. ET ⋅ NBA League Pass

By Matt Moore

The Hawks need a lot of dominos to fall if they want to make it into the NBA In-Season Tournament. I have this game power rated with the Hawks inside the number.

The Hawks are up to the No. 2 offense schedule adjusted (118.0), according to Dunks and Threes, and Trae Young is up to 37% from behind the arc.

Rockets +5 at Mavericks

8:30 p.m. ET ⋅ NBA League Pass

I know they haven't played their best basketball on the road, but this team is 10-0-1 in their last 11 games against the spread (ATS). I think they matchup well against the Mavs as well. It is a must win game for the Rockets to get in the tournament and I think they are motivated to win this NBA In-Season Tournament.

Rockets +5 at Mavericks

8:30 p.m. ET ⋅ NBA League Pass

By Andrew O'Connor-Watts

The Rockets' recent performance has been great. They are second in net rating in the last 10 games at +10.7. I think the Rockets will own the boards as they are second in defensive rebounding rate. Dereck Lively is questionable for the Mavs as well. The Rockets defend the 3-point line very well and the Mavericks like to shoot a lot of them.

All of these things lead me to take the Rockets +5. Fading the Mavericks as home favorites is 27-12-2 ATS since last season and since adding Kyrie Irving, that number is 12-4 ATS.

Houston gets into the NBA In-Season Tournament knockout round with a win. I also threw a future on Alperen Sengun, who is clearly the Rockets' best player, in case they happen to make it and he wins MVP (40-1). You can find some lazy numbers as well for Houston to win the group.

IF they lose, the Rockets are out and the Pelicans are in. However you feel about this game tonight, you can make an In-Season Tournament bet on MVPs for different teams.
