Despite losses to the Pelicans and the Jazz, the Suns are still in pole position in the West, thanks to the blistering run they went on from November through to the All-Star Break.

The Blazers have had yet another disappointing season, but it hasn't been all bad for a team that looked like it was down and out earlier in the year.

Portland is dealing with a number of injuries ahead of this contest, including ailments to Eric Bledsoe, Justise Winslow and Jusuf Nurkic. Phoenix is getting healthier, but Chris Paul will be out of this contest after suffering a long-term thumb injury.

It'll be important for the Suns to get Paul back as the playoffs arrive, but for now, they'll be happy to give him as much rest as possible while they close out the regular season.
