We have a total of four NBA props for this Tuesday, and our staff of basketball betting experts is focused on key players who could be in line for noteworthy performances in tonight's Game 2 between the Indiana Pacers and Cleveland Cavaliers tonight.
Continue below for my NBA player props for Tuesday, May 6.
NBA Player Props for Tuesday, May 6
- Andrew Nembhard Over 17.5 Points + Assists (+100) / Over 1.5 Three-Pointers Made (+128)
- Donovan Mitchell Over 27.5 Points (-125) / 30+ Points (+118)
Andrew Nembhard has been killing this line all playoffs.
In the last game, he had 23 points and six assists. Overall, in six playoff games, he has been over in five, with the only miss from Indy's Game 3 loss in Milwaukee.
I don't think this necessarily means Nembhard has to get this for the Pacers to win — Cleveland is good enough to win in spite of this — but he has demonstrated for two seasons now that he's a 16-game player.
Plus, the Cavaliers not knowing if Darius Garland will be out there doesn't make a difference for me from a defensive standpoint.
I like this prop, and I love it at plus money. He's also +128 to hit over 1.5 threes, which he has done in all but one game he has gone over.
Pick: Andrew Nembhard Over 17.5 Points + Assists (+100) / Over 1.5 Three-Pointers Made (+128)
Donovan Mitchell will continue to get his points. Frankly, I'm a touch surprised that I caught this at 27.5. With heavy backing on the Cavaliers to win Game 2, I was expecting Mitchell to be closer to 30. But with the spread at -10, there's a feeling in the air that Cleveland smacks Indiana.
I really like Indiana, so I'm not anticipating that — nor am I playing the spread — but a blowout could hurt this. Mitchell is over in three of five and would be over in all five, potentially, if Miami had a pulse for Games 4 and 5.
Mitchell showed in Game 1 that he can get to the rim at will — and many have against Indiana this season.
I'm expecting him to set the tone in a Cavs win. If Garland sits again, then Mitchell obviously has the cleaner path to an over. I think this even has sneaky ladder potential to 30 and 35.
Pick: Donovan Mitchell Over 27.5 points (-125) / To Score 30+ points (+118)
