Celtics vs. Hornets Player Prop Pick
Action PRO is projecting 21.6 points for LaMelo Ball in the Hornets' matchup against the Celtics this evening, providing a solid 13.6% edge against his current prop line of over/under 19.5, which is strong enough to tag the Over with a B+ grade in our database.
Ball has scored 20+ points in six straight games, while reaching 29+ points in two of those contests. Zooming out a little bit further, he's also scored 20+ points in seven of his last eight games, while hitting 29+ points in three of those outings.
The Hornets draw a tough matchup against Boston today, which may make this line seem like a trap. However, tough games like this are when teams tend to lean on their best players the most. So, we see value in backing LaMelo to score 20+ points in a seventh straight game tonight.
Pick: LaMelo Ball 20+ Points (-130)
Knicks vs. Thunder Player Prop Bet
Action PRO is projecting 18.3 points for Karl-Anthony Towns in the Knicks' matchup against the Thunder tonight, presenting a nice 10.3% edge against his current prop line of over/under 16.5 points, which is good enough to mark the Over with a B grade in out system.
Towns only scored 13 points in 22 minutes of action in the Knicks' last game. However, prior to his latest outing, KAT scored 17+points in 11 straight games, while reaching 21+ points in eigt of those contests; and getting all the way up to 25+ points in four of them.
Tonight, Towns and the Knicks draw an incredibly difficult matchup against the Thunder — but regardless, we still see value in backing him to clear this number.
Pick: Karl-Anthony Towns Over 16.5 Points (-120)
Warriors vs. Nuggets Player Prop Prediction
By Jim Turvey
This one is as simple as a projected edge from the RotoGrinders prop model.
Kristaps Porzingis has seen his minutes steadily live in the upper-20s as the season has gone along — and his usage rate is above 30% since joining the Warriors.
When you put those two factors together, that makes our projection 22.4 points for Porzingis against the Nuggets tonight.
Pick: Kristaps Porziņģis Over 19.5 Points (-120)
