Unfortunately for the Hornets, the injury bug has struck again this season as they will play without LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller once again.

However, their absences have also opened up opportunities for Knueppel and the rookie has taken advantage.

The fourth overall pick is averaging 16.7 points, 6.4 rebounds, and three assists per game this season.

He is also the first rookie with 150+ points and 30+ rebounds through the first 10 games of his career.

Tonight, the Hornets will host the Bucks and Knueppel has a great matchup.

Against small forwards, Milwaukee is allowing the most points, sixth-most rebounds, and eight-most assists. Combined, they are allowing the most PRA to small forwards at 43.5 per game.

Since Ball has missed the last four games, Knueppel has had at least 34 PRA in all four games averaging per 37 per game.

He has played 78 minutes combined in his last two games, so he should have ample opportunity.

You can also back him for 34+ PRA at +240 on Fanatics.

Pick: Kon Knueppel Over 27.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-115)

Alperen Sengun Over 6.5 Assists (-120)

Houston was dealt a major blow losing Fred VanVleet for the year just before the start of the season.

Houston may trade for a point guard at some point, but early on this season, it leads the league in offensive rating.

It has been able to replace some of his playmaking with Sengun.

Even with VanVleet, Sengun had established himself as one of the league's best passing big, as he has basically averaged five assists per game for the last two seasons.

Now, Sengun has recorded six assists in each of his first nine games this season. He has cleared this line in seven of those games while averaging 7.3 assists per game this season.

Tonight, he gets a fantastic matchup against the Wizards.

Washington is 29th in defensive rating and assists allowed and last in points allowed per game.

It has surrendered 130 points or more in three of their last four games. The Wizards are also 29th in transition points per game allowed.

Houston runs selectively, but they do have Amen Thompson, who can help Sengun pick up an assist or two with a transition bucket.

Sengun is averaging 12.1 potential assists per game this season.

With an average game for him, he should clear this line if his teammates convert seven of those chances.

Pick: Alperen Sengun Over 6.5 Assists (-120)

Trail Blazers vs. Pelicans

Deni Avdija Over 24.5 Points (-115)

Last offseason, the Trail Blazers acquired Avdija from the Wizards and he went on to have a career-year, averaging 16.9 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 3.9 assists.

He started to get some recognition nationally as some have said he has the most valuable contract in the NBA.

However, he keeps better in the scoring department as he is averaging 25.5 points per game on 47/37/86 shooting splits.

Even as Avdija commands more attention as Portland's No. 1 option, he has remained consistent.

He has scored 20 points in nine of his first 10 games this season. He has cleared this line in six of those games, including each of the last four.

In his last game against the Pelicans, Avdija scored 26 points.

New Orleans remains dreadful defensively as it ranks 28th in defensive rating.

Herb Jones is one of the league's best wing defenders. However, New Orleans is still allowing the most 3-point attempts and eighth-most 3-pointers to power forwards.

Avdija is averaging nearly seven three-point attempts per game. But when his shot is not falling, he can also get himself to the free throw line, as he has attempted 10+ free throws in three of his last four games.

Either way, I like Avdija to score 25 points tonight.

Pick: Deni Avdija Over 24.5 Points (-115)
