  • Sharps are finding value in the NBA totals market on Friday night.
  • Below you'll find how they're betting the Jazz-Lakers total, as well as 3 others.

Four days into the NBA season and sharp bettors haven't missed a beat. They also haven't let a single slate of games go by — including the shorter ones on Tuesday and Thursday — without finding some bet worth heavy action.

That's continued into Friday, as wiseguys have found four bets worth making on tonight's slate:

  • Raptors @ Celtics (7 p.m. ET)
  • Knicks @ Nets (7:30 p.m. ET)
  • Suns @ Nuggets (9 p.m. ET)
  • Jazz @ Lakers (10:30 p.m. ET)

Interestingly, all four bets are landing on totals.

This total has been among the biggest movers on tonight's slate, and based on market percentages and bet signals, sharp bettors look to be at the root of the cause.

After opening at 217.5, this total has fallen all the way to 213 despite 53% of bettors taking the over. Those bettors, however, have generated just 15% of actual money being wagered on the total, meaning bigger bets — ones more likely made by sharps — are hitting the under.

Sports Insights' Bet Signals, which are triggered by market-moves as a result of sharp action, confirm those bigger bets to be sharper ones, as they've revealed two moves on the under at 217 and 215.

The second of tonight's two biggest movers, this total was released at 225 at PointsBet and now sits at 229.5. In this case, the move hasn't been quite so against-the-public (72% of bets on the over), but a 4.5-point move is enough to think that sharps might be playing a role.

Once again, SI Bet Signals confirm that to be the case, this time triggering four moves on the over (most recently at 227.5) to get this line to its current number. We've yet to see a conflicting signal hit the under.

While oddsmakers haven't reacted quite as strongly in this case, the sharp side has been just as obvious.

Forty-four percent of bettors have hit the under in Denver tonight, yet they're making up for 84% of actual money, which makes the opinion of bigger bettors clear.

Three Bet Signals on the under have shown those bigger bettors to be of the sharper variety, and while they've yet to trigger any moves past the opening number, sportsbooks have still continued to move this line down from 221 to 219.5.

Another impressive bet-vs.-money discrepancy is taking place in tonight's finale, as 54% of bettors on the under have generated 76% of actual money.

That, paired with five Bet Signals, has brought this total down from 218 to 216.5, after its initial rise to 219.
