  • Sharp action is finding its way to tonight's eight-game NBA slate.
  • We reveal how pros are playing Thunder vs. Pacers (7 p.m. ET) and Hawks vs. Nuggets (9 p.m. ET).

It's weeknight MACtion season in college football again, which gives bettors two football games from which to choose tonight, along with the normal servings of hoops and hockey.

And while those two games may end up being the most heavily bet sporting events of the evening, they haven't cut into the bet counts on tonight's NBA slate as much as one might think.

Plenty of bettors are still making their way to tonight's eight NBA games, and sharps are finding particular value on two: Thunder vs. Pacers and Hawks vs. Nuggets.

Thunder vs. Pacers

7 p.m. ET | FS-OK

This game should be beaten out only by Blazers-Kings in terms of its overall bet count, and most of those bets it's generating are in agreement on the spread.

Indiana opened as just a 3-point favorite, and 67% of bettors have been happy to lay such a small number on a home team with a bettor record (6-4 vs. 4-6). Of course, sharps aren't so concerned with records, and if betting were that easy casinos would be out of business.

In other words, if a line looks too good to be true, there's probably a reason for that.

In this case, not only are sharps laying off the Pacers, they're buying the Thunder as short underdogs and causing some market-wide line movement as a result.

Our Sports Insights Bet Signals, which track and record instances of sharp action in the betting market, have triggered five moves on the Thunder, most recently at +2.5, getting the consensus line down to OKC +2.

Hawks vs. Nuggets

On the other end of the spectrum, this matchup is on pace to attract the fewest bets of any on tonight's slate. Sharps don't mind, however, as long as there's value, and they seem to have found plenty on the over/under.

The overall ticket distribution is split down the middle, with the under holding a slight edge at 52%. As for actual money being wagered, the under holds a much bigger edge at 77%. That means bigger bettors — the ones more likely to be sharps — are expecting a low score.

After opening this game at 214.5 (for the most part — some of the earliest books were as high as 220), this total has come down all the way to 209.5, making it the lowest of the night.

In addition to the bet-vs.-money discrepancy, two more Bet Signals have hit the under at 214 and 211, confirming that sharps are behind the heavy move.
