July 21 Update: The Milwaukee Bucks won the NBA championship in a thrilling six-game series against the Phoenix Suns, but their title odds haven’t budged. The Bucks opened third on the board behind the Brooklyn Nets (+210) and Los Angeles Lakers (+450). After winning the 2021 NBA title, the Bucks remain +800 to win to go back-to-back in 2022.

The NBA has yet to crown the 2021 champion, but DraftKings has provided an early lookahead to the 2022 season.

The Milwaukee Bucks or Phoenix Suns will win the title this year, but both teams are looking up at the Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Lakers on the oddsboard.

The Nets, with the return of Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving to full health, open at +210 ahead of LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the Lakers at +475.

The Bucks and the LA Clippers are next at +800, as the Bucks return their top three of Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton and Jrue Holliday. The Clippers figure to have Kawhi Leonard and Paul George back.

The Warriors come in ahead of the Suns at 12-1 with plenty of questions surrounding their offseason. What will Klay Thompson look like after another knee surgery? What will Golden State do with James Wiseman, and two picks inside the top-15 in the NBA Draft?

Phoenix slots in ahead of the 2021 top seed in the West, the Utah Jazz.

The Atlanta Hawks made a run to the Eastern Conference Finals and are tied with the Miami Heat at 35-1, both ahead of previous conference stalwarts Boston (50-1) and Toronto (80-1).
