The NBA Finals favorite will look to pick up its second home win of the playoffs when the Suns take on the Pelicans in Tuesday’s action.
Phoenix didn’t blow the Pelicans out in the opener, but it did maintain control of the contest throughout, ultimately picking up an 11-point win.
The ninth-seeded Pelicans reached the NBA playoffs via the play-in tournament, where they beat the Spurs and the Clippers in succession. However, oddsmakers aren’t giving them much of a chance of advancing to the second round.
New Orleans is +1200 to win this series, which is currently tied with the Bulls for the longest odds to move on, including the Raptors (+1000) and Nuggets (+950), who are down 2-0 to the Warriors.
There are no new injuries to report ahead of Game 2, so let’s dive into the unique betting circumstances happening in the contest.
