It's officially a sprint to the finish in the NBA as teams look to establish playoff position, improve their playoff seeding and in some cases, "improve" their lottery position.

NBA teams have either five or six games remaining in the regular season, and with just 5.5 games separating first place from seventh place in the Eastern Conference, there is a rare importance placed on these final games for the best teams in the East.

The Heat are in first place, but the fourth-placed Celtics are just a game behind, as are the 76ers and Bucks.
