A lot of teams are resting starters today, so we’re seeing a ton of 36.5 full-game totals and 19.5 1H totals. Makes sense, and this game is no different with both teams resting their starters. Just remember, that also means the starting defenses are sitting. We should get Case Keenum for most/all of the 1H for Chicago, and he’s low key been a preseason stud the last few years, ranking 6th out of 116 QBs in my Performance Ratings. He was excellent again last week, throwing for 151 yards and 2 TDs. Cincinnati is expected to start Joe Flacco, and I’m expecting roughly a quarter from him before Josh Johnson likely finishes out the half. Johnson was shaky last week, but he’s been a solid preseason QB for years and should be a bounce-back candidate here. That’s low key a pretty solid group of veteran QBs who are capable of picking apart backup defenses. On a day where we’re going to see some truly awful QB play, I think this 1H could be a better scoring environment than the market is giving it credit for. Worth taking a flier on 1H Over 19.5.
