Last season, we saw Jalen Hurts average 41.2 rushing yards per game on 9.2 carries per game. This season, he’s logging just 7.2 carries and a lower tally of 27 yards per game.

This is in part due to the downgrade at offensive line over the postseason, with the team finding rushing in general a little harder.

That said, Hurts has seen an increase in recent weeks with 31+ rushing yards and 17 carries across two weeks, more than any time since Weeks 3-4.

If the Bears defense has any weakness, then it’s when quarterbacks use their legs. Only four teams are giving up more rushing yards per game to QBs than the Bears, and with Hurts trending upwards in rushing attempts and rushing yards, this could hit the over.

Pick: Jalen Hurts Over 30.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

In the four weeks before the bye, it looked like Rome Odunze was becoming the Amon-Ra St. Brown of this Ben Johnson offense — but since then, he’s found things tough.

Odunze is dropping too many catchable passes but you have to believe that he's due for some positive regression.

Despite a few down games, he’s still covered this line of 45.5 in two of the past three weeks, and he was only just shy in his losing week.

With an average of 15.5 yards per reception, Odunze doesn’t need to put up massive numbers to cover. He’s not suffering from a lack of targets — over the past two weeks, he’s had just five receptions but he’s had a total of 15 targets.

Pick: Rome Odunze Over 45.5 Receiving Yards (-110, bet365)

We’re doubling down on Odunze getting things right on Friday.

He’s found the end zone six times in 11 games this season, but the concern is that five of them came in the opening month of the season. The Eagles are averaging one receiving touchdown allowed to opposition wideouts per game.

Odunze is still the wide receiver most likely to get the touchdown. He leads the Bears' WR corps with 11 of red-zone targets, an average of one per game. He’s also had five red-zone targets in the past five games, so despite his struggles he’s still getting looks from Caleb Williams in high-value positions on the field.

Pick: Rome Odunze Anytime Touchdown (+250, BetMGM)

Kyle Monangai Anytime Touchdown (+250)

The best value on the board this Friday has to be by backing Kyle Monangai to find the end zone.

The rookie has proven his importance to the Bears offense. Monangai stepped in as the team’s lead back in Week 9 when D'Andre Swift was out, carrying the ball 26 times, and he hasn’t looked back.

The backfield still belongs to Swift, but since his return, he’s had 42 carries across three games, with Monangai taking the ball on 31 occasions.

It’s not an equal split, but it’s clear Monangai isn’t going anyway anytime soon and he’s been more efficient scoring in the past three games, making it four on the season, only one behind Swift.

Last week, Monangai had five of their six red-zone carries and looks to be the man trusted with the ball when near the end zone.

Pick: Kyle Monangai Anytime Touchdown (+250, FanDuel)
