The Las Vegas Aces entered the offseason as the favorites to win their third WNBA championship in as many years after an unforgettable Finals matchup against the New York Liberty. The Storm have added yet another huge free agent to their roster in Ogwumike and their odds to win the WNBA title are on the move. The Storm went from +1600 to win the championship on Friday to +1000 after the signing.

Natasha Cloud signs with the Mercury

Cloud played eight seasons with the Washington Mystics, including their championship season in 2019 and is the Mystics' all-time leader in assists. The move didn't move title odds much. The Mercury are +4600 to win the title as of Feb. 2 ahead of the Sky, Sparks and Mystics.

Jordin Canada traded to the Dream

Canada and No. 12 pick in this year's draft were traded by the Sparks to Atlanta for Aari McDonald and the No. 8 pick in 2024 draft. Canada, a two-time champion with Seattle, spent two seasons in Los Angeles and averaged career highs in points (13.3) and assists (6.0). The Dream were +2900 when 2024 title odds opened and have moved to +2300 in the wake of their recent moves.

Tina Charles signs with Dream

After a year-long hiatus, the 2012 MVP is returning to the WNBA and joining the Dream. Charles sat out the 2023 season and last played for the Storm in 2022, falling short in the playoffs against the Las Vegas Aces.

Skylar Diggins-Smith signs with Storm

Diggins-Smith did not play during the 2023 season for the Mercury and leaves Phoenix after some rocky moments with former coach Vanessa Nygaard. She still managed to make the All-Star team despite having a down season and the Storm currently have the fifth-best odds to win the title (+1600) after being listed at the bottom of the league when odds opened (+6500).

Courtney Williams signs with the Lynx

Williams, who made the WNBA Finals in 2022 with the Sun, will head to Minnesota after one season in Chicago. The one-time All-Star had a career-high 6.3 assists and ranked fourth in the WNBA in 3-point percentage at 44.3%.

Kia Nurse traded to Sparks

The Storm traded the No. 4 pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft and Nurse to the Sparks for a 2026 first-round draft pick. The Sparks currently have the No. 2 pick in the draft giving them two picks in the top five spots. ESPN's latest mock draft had Cameron Brink in the No. 2 spot and Kamilla Cardoso in the No. 4 spot. The Athletic had Paige Bueckers as the No. 2 pick and Rickea Jackson as the No. 4 pick.

Key Moves to Watch

Nneka Ogwumike is the most important player yet to make a decision on her future, but has reportedly narrowed the list of teams she's considering to the Sky, Liberty and Storm, according to ESPN's Chiney Ogwumike. She was seen courtside at a Brooklyn Nets game with Liberty players Breanna Steward and Betnijah Laney-Hamilton on Wednesday night.

Elena Delle Donne is also a player to watch. While the Mystics do have her listed as their Core-Designated player, Delle Donne is reportedly interested in playing elsewhere — either Phoenix or Las Vegas, according to ESPN's Alexa Philippou — and the team would want draft compensation in a trade, according to reports.
