Experience

Turvey has long had a focus on the Futures markets of the betting world, taking home Mark Simon's Baseball Experts Predictions Contest in 2019--his first season involved. He also won Gatehouse Media's "Rising Star" Award in his first year at The Crookston Daily Times, while running the paper's sports section.

From a Futures perspective, he has been projecting win totals for MLB and NBA for almost a decade now, as well as focusing on the awards, league leaders, and all other assorted futures markets for MLB, NBA, and WNBA markets. With the growth of what bettors can bet on in the WNBA, he has also focused his night-to-night attention on the player prop market in the WNBA, a market which is mostly new to U.S. bettors, and still very prime to be profitable.

Turvey's offseason awareness of the league allows for an ability to hit the ground running early in the season and stay ahead of the books each step of the way. He also works with a top WNBA group that is constantly working together to approach this entirety of the WNBA betting market and shares these insights with followers in the app, on the site and on his podcast appearances.

Betting Highlights
Favorite Bet of All-Time
Ironically, even though golf is not a major sport I bet on, betting Alexa Pano to win the ISPS Handa World Invitational remains a top memory. At +15000, and with a Sunday morning showdown that saw Pano stave off two others in a playoff, it is my top betting memory.
Most Heartbreaking Bet
Once again in the world of LPGA, one of the books mixed up two sisters, Nelly and Jessica Korda, giving keen-eyed bettors a chance in a H2H matchup that should've been close to 50-50, more at something like 90-10. Of course, Lydia Ko missed her first cut in *years* and the books, despite making a MASSIVE mistake, still profited off of a truly terrible mistake on their part.
