Despite only having 14 snaps to get his work done, Bo Nix is not shy of slinging it. He led the entire NFL with 612 pass attempts in 2025, for 3,931 yards. He knows how to let the ball fly.
Nix’s passing-yards market is about the first two series. But with an upgraded receiver room Courtland Sutton, Marvin Mims Jr., and major offseason addition Jaylen Waddle give him more short-and-intermediate answers than he had a year ago. Rumors of a 60-yard completion to Waddle rumble out of training camp as well.
One 10-play possession from a quarterback who lives on quick throws, like Nix, should get us most of the way to the 50-yard line, extra with a big completion or two, before the plug is pulled on Nix.
Denver’s new offensive coordinator Davis Webb has stated he wants a "clean operation" more than a scoreboard. This may rein in a dual-threat QB like Nix in a touch, as run-heavy play-calling is a real risk on a 14-play leash, as they try to ease Nix back into the offense.
