It is the last major of the year for both men and women as the ladies head to Muirfield for the 2022 AIG Women's Open.
Muirfield has hosted 16 men's Open Championships in its unique history, most recently the 2013 British Open that was won by Phil Mickelson. This will be the first time in its history that the women will have a crack at one of the game's most historic golf courses.
Nelly Korda and Lydia Ko are the co-favorites (or should I say Ko-favorites) to win the Women's Open at +1000 on DraftKings. Both of them are looking for their first major victory of the season.
Following those two, Korean Hyo Jo Kim and Australian Minjee Lee sit at +1400 to win the championship.
The No. 1 ranked player in the world, Jin Young Ko, rounds out the top five favorites at +1600. Ko has finished in the top 10 in two out of the four majors so far this season but hasn't won an event since January.
Brooke Henderson and Atthaya Thitikul come in at +1800 on DraftKings to win the Women's Open. Henderson is coming off her second major victory at the Evian Championship just two weeks ago. Thitikul is one of the bright stars of the women's game at just 19 years old.
Lexi Thompson (+2000), Georgia Hall (+2200) and Nasa Hataoka (+2200) round out the top tier of golfers at the AIG Women's Open. All other golfers are +3000 or worse to win the championship.
They have certainly saved the best for last for this year's group of majors.
