NFL Draft QB Odds: Teams Expected to Draft a Quarterback on Day 2

Let's dive in and discuss the current situation and NFL Draft QB odds for the top-5 teams in terms of likelihood to take a Day 2 quarterback.

Arizona Cardinals

  • Kalshi NFL Draft QB Odds: 82%

The Cardinals went into the offseason last year with the intention of handing over the keys to Kyler Murray once again. However, plans quickly changed as Murray suffered a foot sprain in Week 5. Arizona then turned to veteran Jacoby Brissett. While the Cardinals were able to consistently generate offense while he was under center, the efficiency at the position could certainly improve. In the midst of a rebuild, expect the Cards to take a quarterback tonight at No. 34 or No. 65 overall.

Pittsburgh Steelers

  • Kalshi NFL Draft QB Odds: 76%

The Steelers receive a fully healthy quarterback season from 42-year-old Aaron Rodgers, and while he was at least passable, the team is highly likely to move on. Pittsburgh isn't a true Super Bowl contender next year, so a rebuild with a Day 2 quarterback seems like the best option. The Steelers possess four Day 2 picks: No. 53, No. 76, No. 85, and No. 99 overall.

New York Jets

  • Kalshi NFL Draft QB Odds: 46%

The Jets saw three different quarterbacks throw a pass during the 2025 season with Justin Fields, Tyrod Taylor, and Brady Cook all earning starts. None of these QBs proved to be worthy of putting into the long-term plans and as a result, you can expect New York to be looking for its new quarterback on Day 2. The Jets maintain the No. 44 overall pick.

Miami Dolphins

  • Kalshi NFL Draft QB Odds: 41%

The Dolphins' quarterback situation was a laughing stock last season as Tua Tagovailoa played himself out of a job and the franchise simply moved on from him. With Tagovailoa now in Atlanta, the Dolphins need some quarterback depth. The team signed former Packers QB Malik Willis to a massive deal, so he is the favorite to start. Miami took Quinn Ewers in last year's draft, but in limited action, he appears to be a career backup type. Expect Miami to bring in depth at No. 43, No. 75, No. 87, or No. 94 overall.
