  • Sharps didn't have a great Friday night, finishing 1-2 overall.
  • They will look to rebound on Saturday with three over/unders.

It wasn’t quite the Friday night that sharp bettors were hoping for, finishing 1-2 on their three strongest plays.

Sharps are back to the grind Saturday, though. Today’s sharpest angles all involve totals, including a contrarian over opportunity in one of this evening’s west coast matchups.

New York Yankees at Boston Red Sox

  • Sharp angle: Under 9.5
  • First pitch: 4:05 p.m. ET

Thanks mostly to Rick Porcello, last night’s Sox-Yankees game featured just five runs on eight hits and took only two hours and fifteen minutes. Most bettors aren’t expecting a repeat performance with Chance Adams facing off against Nathan Eovaldi, as 70% of bets have landed on the over.

Sharps, however, are among the minority taking the under. They’ve hammered the under at Pinnacle, SIA and YouWager causing market wide movement from 10 down to 9.5.

Chicago White Sox at Tampa Bay Rays

  • Sharp angle: Under 7
  • First pitch: 6:10 p.m. ET

The betting percentages aren’t quite as lopsided in this one, but 56% of bets are on the over. However, only 28% of the money wagered is backing the over, which has helped drop the over/under from 7.5 to 7.

Sharpies have specifically hammered the under at Buckeye, BetOnline and Heritage, which has also contributed to the line move.

San Francisco Giants at Arizona Diamondbacks

  • Sharp angle: Over 8.5
  • First pitch: 8:10 p.m. ET

Bettors are split down the middle on this total. Fifty-one percent of bets are on the over to this point, but so are 81% of dollars. Sharper bettors clearly expect a high-scoring game — and third straight over in this series.
