The 2025 NASCAR Cup Series regular season concludes with Saturday's Coke Zero Sugar 400 (7:30 p.m. ET, NBC) at Daytona International Speedway, and NASCAR weather has already been a big storyline this weekend.

Both Cup and XFINITY Series qualifying sessions were canceled due to rain on Friday, setting both lineups by the rulebook.

In addition, rain and lightning delayed Friday night's XFINITY Series race before the event completed the full scheduled distance.

Unfortunately, there is rain in the updated NASCAR weather report for Daytona, which could result in a delay depending on how much precipitation falls at the track.

Below is an updated look at Saturday's forecast for Daytona, including the chances of a rain delay for the Coke Zero Sugar 400.

Updated NASCAR Weather Forecast for Daytona

*NASCAR weather forecast updated Saturday at 6:39 p.m. ET

According to the National Weather Service, there's a 46% chance of rain at 7 p.m. ET, which then drops to 31% by 9 p.m. ET and 16% by 11 p.m. ET, so it appears that the rain is expected to clear out as the night goes on.

Because Daytona International Speedway has lights, NASCAR has time to dry the track and get tonight's race started (or restarted) should the rain hold off long enough to do so.

If rain is simply too intense to get in the full 400 miles, the Coke Zero Sugar 400 would be official at the halfway mark, which is the completion of lap 80.

Live NASCAR odds at DraftKings list Ryan Blaney as the favorite at +800, followed by Brad Keselowski (+900), William Byron (+1000), Kyle Busch (+1000) and Joey Logano (+1100).
