So yes, there has been ample precipitation so far in Concord N.C. and more is expected on Sunday evening.
Here's the latest NASCAR weather forecast for Sunday's Coca-Cola 600.
NASCAR Weather Forecast for Sunday's Coca-Cola 600
There's a 70% chance of rain Sunday night at Charlotte Motor Speedway according to the National Weather Service, and the hourly breakdown reveals more of the same.
Specifically, there's a 47% chance of rain at 6 p.m. ET, which then bounces between 49% and 65% through midnight.
Charlotte Motor Speedway does have lights, so NASCAR has the opportunity to start or restart a delayed race late into the night if it so chooses.
Monday's NASCAR weather forecast isn't all that great either at 70%, so officials may be battling with the weather early next week should tonight's Coca-Cola 600 get postponed due to rain.
Updated NASCAR odds from BetMGM list Denny Hamlin at +450, followed by Tyler Reddick (+475), Christopher Bell (+750), Kyle Larson (+800) and William Byron (+900).
