The 110th Running of the Indianapolis 500 (12:00 p.m. ET, FOX) is sure to be an exciting one.
Last year's edition was intense in the cold weather, with a crash before the green flag even waved. With potential rain in the forecast, expect it to be a tense affair with drivers trying to get to the front as quickly as possible so they have the track position should the weather hit and shorten the race.
The Greatest Spectacle in Racing is a bit top-heavy this year, but among that top group of contenders, I truly believe it's quite wide open, especially with the elements a factor.
My Indy 500 preview piece is a great place to start when building a betting card.
In that write-up, I have a full 33-driver breakdown with my analysis, stats, and observations for each driver, as well as my predicted finishing order.
Last year, the preview piece directly led to my betting card piece that profited 9.55 units, for a 134% ROI.
Once again, those thoughts in my preview piece will largely shape my betting card, which is in full below. Also be sure to check out my motorsports parlay with a pick from the Indy 500, F1 Canadian Grand Prix, and NASCAR's Coca-Cola 600!
Also, I'll be updating this piece as I add more bets all the way up until the drop of the green flag, so make sure you're refreshing here and following me in the Action App at my handle, nick_giffen, to see those bets tracked in real time!
