This number may be a touch volatile with Powell's status up in the air but I like it regardless. Jaquez has averaged 15.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 4.0 assists in 28 minutes per game to start the season for the Heat. He's a clear leader of the bench unit and consistently sees his rotation both with and without the starters. One of the primary changes in the Heat's game plan has been to run run run as they play at a blistering 110 Pace which is fastest in the league due to them having the shortest OPL (12.2 seconds). This now pairs very well for this track meet against the Hornets who play at the fifth fastest Pace in the league. The major overhaul comes down to the play calling and the actions directly off of rebounds. The Heat have run just 22 on-ball picks per 100 possessions over the first three games, by far the fewest of any season in the tracking era, per ALLCITY\_NBA. They have run PnR at a league low of 8.7% and this is partly because of Spo but also because Tyler Herro ran PnR on 33.1% of his possessions. The team is securing rebounds and then immediately getting out in transition with whomever secured that rebounds. This greatly benefits playmaking wings such as Jaime Jaquez who can not only rebound effectively but create for himself and others off the bounce. In regards to Norm, Jaime has played 47 minutes with and 37 minutes without. He sees his points per 100 spike from 20.2 to 31.3 and his assists per 100 spike from 1.9 to an insane 12.0. The rebounds have consistently been there regardless too with 6, 10, and 5 in three games. I like the combo prop with the idea that he can generate offense in any setting but gets an added boost with the rebound potential.
