If Penix can evolve into a star, we know the division isn't going to stand in their way, and then that 75-1 will be a phenomenal ticket to take into the playoffs next season.

Improved offensive system under Kubiak, more opportunities to be efficient running behind a better QB, and I like the way he was running towards the end of his rookie campaign. Buying Jeanty at the cheapest price we’re likely to get him for the remainder of his prime years.

He’s surpassed this in 7 of his 8 seasons in the NFL, buying the dip, especially in a revitalized offense.

Have to add this to the portfolio, this guy looks like a vet in an offense where he has a chance to eat.

I still have the Seahawks rated as the best team in the NFL and when you consider the Rams struggles and the 49ers injuries, this is a great time to buy the Hawks.

This team won 44 games last year with Charles Lee getting every ounce of serious basketball out of LaMelo Ball he possibly could, now they have serious hoopers across the board. Naz Reid is a winning player that doesn’t necessarily get accounted for in the market – Kon Knueppel is a sniper and now, without LaMelo, the ball can live in Brandon Miller’s hands, which is where we want it. I’d expect another 40 win season from Charlotte, I wouldn’t be surprised if they contend for one of the top seeds in the conference.

I expect a big leap from Cooper Flagg. He was incredible as a rookie, if he keeps ascending, this team has a chance to be really good. And I like their defensive upside. They had the best defense amongst all the bad teams last year, but a lot of that felt like it was by design, they weren’t always putting their best foot forward. Now they add Dusty May who is an excellent coach. Kyrie is back. They have some depth. There’s just a lot to like about this team. And there’s a lot of winnable games out west.

I came into the offseason wanting to be all-in on the Pacers and I do think there’s a world where it all clicks for them again like it did 2 years ago, but realistically speaking, that’s probably not going to happen. Realistically, they caught lightning in a bottle in a weaker eastern conference, and Tyrese Haliburton wasn’t coming off an achilles injury during their run to the finals. A lot has to go right for them to hit the over and the east is a gauntlet this year. I would expect a slow start for Indiana.

This is the trendiest pick on the planet right now but I think a lot of folks who watch this league closely had this team circled at the end of last year – with 50% less talent, Will Hardy was having to call off the dogs at halftime because his guys were overperforming. A full season of a full effort in a diminished west, and they’ll be in striking distance of playoff seeding all season.

Tatum has a chance to do what Jaylen Brown did last year, and that’s succeed at a high level without the other one around. It’s a narrative award sometimes and the narrative here is pretty clear – if the Celtics are the best team in the east and Jayson Tatum’s number get a boost because he’s not sharing the ball with JB – he’ll get more credit than Brown got. And lot of that comes down to efficiency and the advanced stats.
