  • Tuesday's three-game NBA slate features two player prop bets offering value.
  • This piece will focus on Cavaliers guard Jordan Clarkson, Hawks forward Taurean Prince and Warriors forward Kevin Durant.

Prop bets can be a great way to get action on a game. Bookmakers don’t have to worry about taking a lot of action on them, so there isn’t as great an incentive to post a competitive line.

As a result, props can be some of the most exploitable bets on the board.

These props can become downright unfair when you combine them with the FantasyLabs Player Prop tool.

Tuesday’s best props focus on two of the slate’s three games:

  • Charlotte Hornets at Cleveland Cavaliers: 7 p.m. ET on NBA TV
  • Atlanta Hawks at Golden State Warriors: 10:30 p.m. ET on NBA TV

Let’s dive right in.

Cavaliers G Jordan Clarkson

The Pick: Over 15.5 points (-135)

The Cavs are battling some injury issues, with both Cedi Osman and Kyle Korver unlikely to suit up on Tuesday night. Kevin Love, of course, remains out.

That means there's some extra minutes and possessions — especially in the bench unit — for Clarkson, who has played 25 minutes in three straight games. He's hit double-digit points in every game this season, and last game he used a whopping 31.0% of the possessions while on the floor.

The Cavs have played slow, but the Hornets don't mind picking up the tempo. Plus Cleveland has actually played much faster with Clarkson leading the show. Among rotation players, he leads the team with a 99.8 pace factor.

I like Clarkson to hit the over here, and I wouldn't mind betting it up to -160.

Hawks SF Taurean Prince

The Pick: Under 5.5 rebounds (-130)

To be blunt, Prince has been awful this season, posting an 11.3 PER and a -3.9 Box Plus-Minus. His minutes have been all over the place, and his play has been a big reason for Atlanta's early-season struggles.

He did have a bounce-back game last time out against the Lakers, and he grabbed seven boards in that one, but I'm not betting that happening again tonight.

First, he's gone below 5.5 rebounds in four of his last five games, and on Tuesday night he'll go up against the defending champion Warriors, who have been gobbling up rebounds this season. On the season, Golden State ranks fifth in overall rebound rate while Atlanta ranks just 24th.

This line should be more like 4.5 or 5, so I don't mind the -130 juice, and I'd bet it up to -150 given the matchup.

Warriors SF Kevin Durant

The Pick: Over 6.5 assists (-145)

Durant has gone for 10, 11 and nine assists in his past three games. The Warriors will be without both Stephen Curry and Draymond Green tonight — their two best passers — which means the offense will run almost entirely through KD.

The Warriors have an awesome matchup against an Atlanta squad that ranks 21st in defensive efficiency, allowing 108.2 points per 100 possessions. They have almost no defenders to throw at Durant; he should dominate this overmatched team even on a back-to-back.

The -145 juice seems like a lot, but 6.5 assists is very low given his role. I'd play it up to -170, and I would even like it at 7.0 assists.
