The Clippers will be looking to stave off elimination on Monday night when they head into Phoenix Suns Arena for Game 5.
Los Angeles continued to show the tremendous amount of heart it has, fighting back to make Game 4 a close contest despite trailing for most of the game.
Neither team could make a shot in Game 4, with Los Angeles shooting 32.5% and the Suns shooting 36% from the field. It was truly a war of attrition, as Phoenix eked out the win with Devin Booker and Chris Paul chipping in timely baskets down the stretch.
Though they lost Game 4, the Clippers did have the highest scoring quarter in that contest, racking up 30 points in the third. In that third frame of Game 4, Reggie Jackson (20 points) and Paul George (23 points) both got going, creating offense for themselves, and decent looks in the paint for Ivica Zubac.
Phoenix will likely come out with a ton of energy to start Game 5 in front of a raucous crowd thirsty for a well-deserved NBA Finals appearance.
With that in mind, it will be important for the Clippers to defend without fouling early. In the lone game that the Clippers have won in this series, they held the Suns to 13 free throw attempts.
So how do top NBA bettors see tonight’s Clippers vs. Suns Game 5 playing out?
When it comes to smart money, that answer is clear.
