Here's everything you need to know about Jazz vs. Kings on Saturday, Dec. 16 — our expert prediction and betting picks for today.

The Jazz will travel to Sacramento to take on the Kings on Saturday night. Can this injured Jazz team take out the Kings? Or will the Kings defend their home court?

Let's get to our Jazz vs. Kings prediction and pick.

Jazz vs. Kings Prediction

Pick: Over 240

Jazz Betting Outlook

The Jazz are banged up right now as four of their starters are currently out or questionable heading into tonight’s game. Starting guards Jordan Clarkson and Keyonte George will both be out while Lauri Markkanen and John Collins are still questionable.

Collin Sexton, Talen Horton-Tucker, and Kris Dunn have replaced the guard minutes in Clarkson and George’s absence so expect those guys to play 25+ minutes here. Sexton should be in line for a big game here as he is averaging 31 minutes and 26.5 PPG over the last two games.

This should be an uptempo game and the Kings don’t have great point-of-attack defenders or great rim defenders so I expect Sexton to produce here. I like Sexton to go over his pointsprop of 20.5 here.

Kings Betting Outlook

The Kings offense should have no issues scoring points here as the Jazz rank 26th  in defensive rating despite playing the fifth-easiest schedule of opposing offenses.

The Jazz have done a poor job of defending the 3-point line ranking 22nd in opponent 3-point attempt rate allowed and 19th in 3-point accuracy allowed. This is a recipe for disaster against this Kings offense that ranks third in offensive three point attempt rate on the year.

The Jazz are bereft of effective defenders outside of Walker Kessler but Kessler shouldn’t be able to impact this game as much given the Kings proclivity for three pointers. I expect Fox to get to wherever he wants to on the floor as the Jazz will not be playing many good defensive guards outside of Kris Dunn.

I like this game to go over 240 as I don’t envision many stops from either team. Markkanen will return for the Jazz and he should be a huge boost for their offensive efficiency. The Jazz offense has been +6.3 points better per 100 possessions with Markkanen on the court.

Take the over 240 in Sacramento Saturday night.
