NBA First Basket Prop Pick: Desmond Bane, Ja Morant
|Odds||Bane (+1000), Morant (+750)|
|Time||10:30 p.m. ET|
The Memphis Grizzlies head back to Los Angeles to take on the Lakers in Game 6 of their Western Conference series. Jaren Jackson Jr. (74% opening tip win rate) will take on Anthony Davis (57% win rate) for the opening tip. Jackson has won five of seven opening tip-offs against Davis this season.
The Grizzlies have scored first in all six of eight matchups with the Lakers this season, with Dillon Brooks, Xavier Tillman, Jackson (twice), Ja Morant and Desmond Bane each cashing first basket tickets.
This is another must win game for the Grizzlies. Morant and Bane have carried the team over the past two games, combining for almost 60 points per game. I think Morant comes out and is very aggressive with a drive to the basket. I like the odds on both players and will take Morant and Bane to score first in this one.
DraftKings: Morant 1st Field Goal (+750) | Risk 0.4 Units, Play to +525
FanDuel: Bane 1st Basket (+1000) | Risk 0.4 Units, Play to +700
