NBA Injury News

6:30 p.m. ET Update: Lonzo Ball will play Sunday after missing the past seven games due to a strained hip flexor. The Pelicans will be without Brandon Ingram, Zion Williamson, Kira Lewis Jr. and Josh Hart on Sunday

1:30 p.m. ET Update: Andre Drummond will sit for the second straight game on Sunday with a toe injury. Joel Embiid is out on the second half of a back-to-back. Zach LaVine will play Sunday despite a sprained ankle.

1 p.m. ET Update: Trae Young and Danilo Gallinari have been cleared to return to Atlanta's lineup after missing the past two Hawks games.

Isaiah Thomas, who recently signed a 10-day contract with the New Orleans Pelicans, won't be available to play Sunday because of the health and safety protocols. Colby White has been ruled out with a neck injury.

The Brooklyn Nets have ruled out James Harden in their matchup with the Chicago Bulls Sunday. Harden will miss his second straight game due to a tight right hamstring. Kevin Durant will also sit out but has an outside shot to play on Monday in the second leg of the back-to-back.

The Los Angeles Lakers have listed Andre Drummond as questionable for Sunday's game against the LA Clippers. Drummond sustained a toe injury in his debut and missed the Lakers' game against the Sacramento Kings on Friday. On the other side of that matchup, Rajon Rondo is listed as probable and expected to make his Clippers debut Sunday, according to head coach Tyronn Lue.

The Philadelphia 76ers are monitoring Joel Embiid after he made his return to the court on Saturday. Sixers head coach Rivers said after Saturday's game that he isn't sure if Embiid will play Sunday in the second leg of a back-to-back. Rivers said the Sixers will "be more cautious than aggressive", although that doesn't necessarily mean Embiid will sit.

Jaylen Brown is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Charlotte Hornets after leaving the Celtics' previous game with a bruised knee. Gordon Hayward will also miss that game with a right foot sprain that is expected to keep him sidelined for at least four weeks.

The New Orleans Pelicans have a lengthy injury report ahead of their game with the Houston Rockets. Zion Williamson, Brandon Ingram and Lonzo Ball are all questionable. Ingram and Williamson have missed back-to-back games and Ball has been out for seven straight games. Kira Lewis Jr. is also doubtful due to a strained right calf.

Trae Young and Danilo Gallinari are both questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Warriors after both were unable to play in the win on Friday. Young sat out with a sore knee and Gallinari is hampered by a sore left Achilles.
