NBA Injury News

5 p.m. ET Update: Pacers coach Nate Bjorkgren believes Sabonis will suit up Tuesday for the play-in contest despite dealing with a bruised quad.

The Indiana Pacers took another hit from the injury bug ahead of their must-win game against the Charlotte Hornets. In a surprise turn of events, Caris LeVert has been ruled out Tuesday in accordance with league's the health and safety protocols.

He is expected to miss 10-to-14 days if the Pacers advance past the play-in tournament, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium. Expect Justin Holiday and TJ McConnell to receive additional minutes with LeVert sidelined.

Pacers head coach Nate Bjorkgren announced that Malcolm Brogdon will be a game-time decision for Tuesday's game. Brogdon has been sidelined for the past 10 games due to a sore right hamstring.

Domantas Sabonis is back on the injury report with a quad contusion and is listed questionable for Tuesday. He played 39 minutes in Sunday's regular season finale and it appears very likely that he will suit up Tuesday.

Edmond Sumner and Aaron Holiday both practiced on Monday but are currently without official statuses.

Robert Williams is the only Boston Celtics player listed on the injury report ahead of Tuesday's game against the Washington Wizards aside from Jaylen Brown who is out for the season.

Jayson Tatum (ankle), Kemba Walker (neck), Marcus Smart (calf), Evan Fournier (knee), and Tristan Thompson (chest) have all been removed from the injury report. There is no word on if Thompson or Williams will draw the start at center.
