NBA Injury News & Starting Lineups (January 8): Donovan Mitchell Probable, Jimmy Butler Questionable, Ja Morant Doubtful Saturday

NBA Injury News

Donovan Mitchell is probable to play for the Utah Jazz after sitting out Friday with a sore back. The entire Jazz starting five missed last night's game, but Mitchell, Mike Conley and Bojan Bogdanovic are all expected to play.

Jimmy Butler is listed as questionable after sitting out the Miami Heat's last game with an ankle sprain. Butler has re-aggravated his ankle several times this season and missed a chunk of time for the heat in spots.

Evan Fournier is listed as questionable with a thigh contusion ahead of the New York Knicks' matchup against the Boston Celtics. Fournier scored a career-high on Thursday against the Celtics and has averaged 30+ points against his former team.

Ja Morant is listed as doubtful ahead of the Memphis Grizzlies' matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers Saturday. Morant played 25 minutes in their most recent game but is dealing with a sore thigh.
