NBA Injury News & Starting Lineups (January 4): Julius Randle Questionable, Darius Garland Cleared to Return Tuesday

NBA Injury News

The New York Knicks could have a few players back in their starting lineup ahead of Tuesday's game against the Indiana Pacers. Centers Mitchell Robinson and Jericho Sims cleared health and safety protocols Monday and are listed as questionable for conditioning.

Julius Randle cleared protocols on Tuesday morning is also questionable depending on his conditioning. Kemba Walker has been ruled out for the third game in a row with a sore knee after returning to the lineup for six games in the end of December.

The Pacers will be without three of their starters — Malcolm Brogdon, Caris LeVert and Chris Duarte — all of whom are out due to health and safety protocols.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have removed Darius Garland from the injury list and he is expected to play Tuesday against the Memphis Grizzlies after missing their past four games due to health and safety protocols.

Dejounte Murray is being ruled out for the San Antonio Spurs due to conditioning. Murray cleared protocols on Saturday after missing the past four games, but is still ramping up his workload.
