Below are the projected starting lineups for each team playing on Tuesday's NBA slate, along with notable injury news for each squad.

NBA Injury News

The reigning champion Milwaukee Bucks will open up the 75th NBA season at home with a matchup against the Brooklyn Nets.

The Bucks have already announced four players won't play in the season opener — Bobby Portis, Semi Ojeleye, Rodney Hood and Donte DiVincenzo — and the Nets will notably be without their star guard Kyrie Irving, who has not be allowed to practice or play due to his vaccination status.

In the late game, the Los Angeles Lakers host the Golden State Warriors at Staples center and L.A. will be without several players for its first game. Trevor Ariza and Talen Horton-Tucker will both miss extended time — Ariza is expected to miss two months after ankle surgery and Horton-Tucker is expected to miss a month after hand surgery. Wayne Ellington is also out with a hamstring strain.

The bumps and bruises don't stop there for the Lakeshow, though, as Kendrick Nunn is questionable to play with a right ankle sprain. If Nunn is unable to go, Rajon Rondo would likely play extended minutes at point guard behind Russell Westbrook.

The Warriors, outside of players already expected to miss the opener, are relatively healthy.
