NBA Injury News

2 p.m. ET Update: Kyrie Irving will miss Saturday's game due to right shoulder injury recovery and Jeff Green will be available to play against the Mavericks. Kristaps Porzingis has been upgraded to probable after initially being listed as questionable for tonight's primetime game.

The Utah Jazz will rest Mike Conley Saturday on the second leg of a back-to-back against the Orlando Magic.

DeMar DeRozan has returned to the San Antonio Spurs and will be available to play Saturday.

The Dallas Mavericks are monitoring Kristaps Porzingis ahead of their primetime matchup with the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday night.

Per our NBA Insiders tool:

Porzingis is officially listed questionable in advance of Saturday's game. He practiced Friday and coach Carlisle said he expects him to play on Saturday if there are no issues. Porzingis has missed the past three games with a tight back. His imminent return should move Boban Marjanovic back out of the rotation and possibly Dwight Powell as well. There's been no word of whether he'll be on a minutes limit or not upon his return.

The San Antonio Spurs could be down to nine available players with Derrick White, Rudy Gay, Devin Vassell, and Keldon Johnson out due to COVID protocols and both DeMar DeRozan and LaMarcus Aldridge questionable.

Aldridge just returned to the lineup after dealing with a hip injury and is now dealing with a wrist injury. DeRozan has been away from the team due to the death of his father and is questionable as well.

The New York Knicks have listed Elfrid Payton as questionable for Saturday's game against the Indiana Pacers as he nurses a hamstring injury. If he's unable to go, Derrick Rose will likely replace him in the starting lineup as he did Thursday.
