NBA Injury News & Starting Lineups (January 15): LeBron James Probable, Joel Embiid Questionable

NBA Injury News

5:30 p.m. ET Update: Sixers star Joel Embiid (elbow) is questionable against Miami.

Bogdan Bogdanovic, meanwhile, is questionable for Atlanta's clash with New York.

2:30 p.m. ET Update: Matisse Thybulle (shoulder) has been ruled out for Saturday's 76ers-Heat tilt.

The Raptors, on the second of a back-to-back, will rest Scottie Barnes.

Spurs big Jakob Poeltl (back tightness) is doubtful against the Clippers.

LeBron James is listed as probable for Saturday night's clash against the Denver Nuggets with an abdominal injury. It's the same area that kept him out eight games in November.

Fellow Lakers forward Carmelo Anthony, meanwhile, is questionable. He missed the team's last game due to lower back tightness.

The Hawks recently shipped off Cam Reddish and Solomon Hill to the Knicks. Those two clubs meet Tuesday for a good one, though neither will be active vs. their former franchise.

Nets big man Nic Claxton could miss his third straight game, as he's questionable against the Pelicans.
